Default how much fatmat do I need?

I have a 04 ex coupe. I am getting ready to put a system in and I was wanting to know if anyone has installed Fatmat or Dynomat in their cars. I needed to know about how may Sq. ft. i need to do my trunk, trunk lid, rear deck and my doors? I was on Fatmat's web site and they got 50 sq. ft for $79.99 and 100 sq ft for $129.99 free shipping. Any suggestions will help thankx

50sq ft will cut it very close probably fall just short of what you need, 100sq ft will be more then enough

I would get the 50 sq ft. You can always go to bustbuy and get a little package of Dynomat if you need to and its not that much. I never did my doors. I would just worry about your trunk.

If you are going with fatmat, you are going to need to use a lot of it because it is not much better than the Peal and Seal roofing stuff that you can get from Lowes or Home Depot. Check out this site for more information: http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/

At a minimum, I would suggest using raammat (http://www.raamaudio.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi) over fatmat. Other better, yet more expensive, alternatives would include second skin, cascade, or dynamat. I have also used eDead UE with great results, but that stuff is THICK and not the most fun to work with if you don't have a heat gun.

i have used Dynomat before in my old car. I was trying to find a different kind that wasnt so expensive since money is so tight these dayz. If anyone has any good experiance with anyother brand let me know how it done. I got a kicker L7 solo-baric im going to put in after i get my cd player and what ever kinda sound dampening installed. I think I will just do my trunk and rear deck to cut down on the Sq. ft. so my doors dont really need to be done.
