how much would it cost to run a backup battery to the back of the car for an alarm system and how hard would it be?

Not alot and pretty easy. They actually make a backup battery for your alarm that could tuck away in your dash, I would look into that.

If you have a dei car alarm you can buy this, DEI 520T, ebay it i bought mine for 40 bux or so works great.

damn, ill probably buy uit off ebay and then bring it to the shop and have them do it, thanks for the heads up
