Default How to put back my original stereo?

Hi everyone, My 2001 civic came with the original tape player and I changed it to a cd player, but I payed Fry's to change it to that. How do I put back the original back in my car? I just want to do that because I want to use the tape player so that I can put in one of those casette adapters to hook up my ipod. I'm really a novice at doing it yourself things but I want to learn. Ok, thanks let me know.

Does your CD player have an AUX input? Most do. You can connect the ipod that way, it will sound better than a tape adapter.

You could use one of those FM transmitters if you wanted, but the sound quality isn't as good though.

http://www.gromaudio.com/usb.html

you could try that

thinking of trying this myself - the unit plugs into the back of the original factory radio and you can put a usb stick in it with your music or hook up a digital music player through the sound input. If it plugs into the port that the cd/tape player plugs into I guess you have to dump your cd/tape player but you shouldn't need it with the usb and aux sound input.

i agree with these guys, that stock radio is an absolute beast, i'd rather have nothing than put that sucker back in. an in-dash with AUX or usb is definately the way to go.
