ok so i bought a new cd player for my 04 civic sedan. i boughtt it from crutchfeilds.com and it comes with instructions and everythign.. i even bought that special user manual that has fair pictures.. anyways.. im at the part where you have to take the climate control pannel off.. i got the 2 lil screws off but it wont pry off easily like the picture shows.. im to afraid to pry to hard and break it.. any suggestions? i can take pics if you need em

 

if you're unsure, take it to worst buy or circuit sheety.

breaking off pieces of your dash suck majorly...

 

yah i got mine done at a local audio shop, worth it to spend the 60 bucks to have them install my headunit and speakers... i would have broke something out of frustration.

 

yea, the best way to go is go to an audio installer,cause if u break the piece...ur gonna regret it...and end up payin more to fix it and then install it!

 

7th gens suck when you're trying to take all of that off... 5th and 6th gens are butter... but for some reason 01-05s just had to suck. i took mine to an audio shop and the guy did it and wired the head unit wrong and fried my front and rear wiring harness.... helllllssss yeah!

 

new panels rarely ever pry easily. Just a word from an installer.

 

thanks! i think ill take it to my mechanic if i cant figure it out.. hes the only one i really trust with my car.. i hope he can do it... and if he breaks it he has to payfor it.. so i like that.. :P

 

i say u can do it yourself get haynes manuel it will help out as well as help you out in the future
