Default I want to upgrade Subs & Amp.

I will probably upgrade my system within the next couple of months. I currently have 2 12' Cerwin Vega Subs, and 1 1000watt Kenwood Amp, 600 watt Xplod amp... installed right now. I want to buy 1 15' Kicker Solo Baric L7 and an amp that will handle it and make it sound awesome. I don't have experience with Kickers or amps too well. Has anyone had experiences with Solo Barics and what kinds of amps are used to power them ? I'm hoping to get a 2000watt amp to power the single sub, and use my current 1000watt amp to power the speakers.

Any advice would be appreciated...
thanks.

i would recommend getting the Kicker ZX750.1 to power the single 15" L7. I definately would not recommend running 2000w rms to that sub because you're setting yourself up for a blown sub. The ZX750.1 is underrated and pushes around 850-900w rms

I have a feeling he's talking about max watts rather than RMS, almost definitely sure
He probably means that kenwood with a fan on it etc, in which case it's definitely 1000 peak
If you're talking about an upgrade
kicker is fine
the amp, just make sure it matches to RMS
might as well make it a kicker too

A few years back I had 2 12" L5 Solo Barics. They were bitchin! Used a 1200w Lanzar Rackmount amp for the juice and was actually underpowering them. Not sure exactly how I had em wired up but damn, they were loud as hell.

Yea, i was talking about the 2000w Max. Not RMS.
So, i should consider buying a kicker amp who's RMS wattage is the same as the Sub's RMS wattage ?
What would be the wattage on the Kicker ZX750.1 ?

I will probably upgrade in like two or three months. First, i have to try to get rid of my current system. If you guys are interested or know anyone who is interested let me know. I will be selling my pioneer head unit, two cerwin vega subs (had them for about 1 year on a 1000watt amp, so they're not banged up), and 1 kenwood 1000watt amp.

Headunit looks like this

Subs look like this (retail at over 200 bucks each)

amp looks like this (used for about 3 months):

I will be aadding a post to the FS thread if you guys are interested.
