Does anybody know how to DIY subs, amps, speakers, and headunits?

I plan on buying a sub and an amp (unsure of brand), and don't wanna spend extra green for installation fees.

 

that is a very broad question. Dig around a little bit in this forum AND look in the DIY section to find your answers.

 

If you can work a screw driver, you can prolly do it yourself. It's not a quick process though, look around and get info on the specific components and installation of them and then if you have any questions post them. Explaining a full install would take days.

When you buy the sterio speakers and such it comes with instructions.

 

What year civic do you have? different generations have different ways to get the face out. I think for mine I had to take out the whole center console to get to the screws for the face.
