sounds great. the sound is very clear even when i turn them up high. all i need is some subs!!! the bass is alright with these speaker tho. i can wait until summer. thats when i plan on getting subs.

sony xplod car audio is in the same group as pyle and power acoustic in my book. Garbage.

 

^^^ actually this head unit isnt bad. it has a nice display. and the usb and aux input is a plus. the DSO (Dynamic Soundstage Organizer)feature makes my tweeters sound nice.

 

pete. theres nothing really wrong with xplod car audio.. its most certainly not the best quality stuff you can buy.. but the price is right and it works.. the only thing i would stay away from is sony amps.. they overheat real quick and shut off. but i had xplod head unit and speakers for a long time and they sounded great and never gave me any problems.

 

it's all in personal preference and pricing.

and may i ask why you paid 250 bucks for that head unit when i say the same model a while back at circuit city for 160 dollars? it sucks to say, but i think you got ripped off pretty badly.

 

it couldnt have been this one because this is a new model. unless this one is an upgrade to an older one.

 

looks good dude...I did the same sorta thing you did, I installed brand new Rockford Fosgate speakers in the front and back, a pioneer head unit and a MTX amp...I had this set up for around 6 months but once you get subs in there you notice what you've been missing!! I bought a couple of rockford 12"s off ebay and a Rockford Amp and they are awesome! The subs make it all good! looks great though!

 

yea, im pretty sure big mike has a new model of hu, i have a sony gtx 400, it cost me about 170 cdn, so that 250 sounds right. Nice setup, and where did u buy those jl speakers?
