pete. theres nothing really wrong with xplod car audio.. its most certainly not the best quality stuff you can buy.. but the price is right and it works.. the only thing i would stay away from is sony amps.. they overheat real quick and shut off. but i had xplod head unit and speakers for a long time and they sounded great and never gave me any problems.

Ya know....only a moderator could get away with that kind of attitude. If if it was anyone else......they'd get reamed for sayin it. I'm dissapointed
Xplod is garbage, so are Sony amps. GJ on the infinity's though!! I just put a set of 60.7 CS in the front of mine. Can't wait till the trunk is finished so I can hook everything back up. I really miss my system...

I just noticed. Did you tape your speaker wire along side the power and ground wire?

very nice inexpensive setup, i ran infinities in my 94, and they worked perfectly. Very clean, crisp sound, i was impressed for the money. The only recommendation i would add is that you should be running a larger gauge wire to your speakers. 18 ga. is fine on ur stock speakers from your stock head unit, but with aftermarket where your 6.5s are pushing 90wrms, and 5.25s are running 75wrms, 18ga just dont cut it, i would upgrade to 12ga minimum, mebbe 10ga running to your fronts. You have to overcome the resistancebecause of the length running to your doors.
