I belive it might be the boxes problem to hold you back. But go ahead and try it, it shouldnt be much different. To be sneaky, string the wires thru one of the screw holes to make it look pretty.

Yes you can invert them both or just one. The back of a sub sounds the exact same as the front. If you only invert one though you have to hook its polarity up backwards. THe posotive to negative and vice versa.

It's also gonna give you more airspace. Most 12's are around 0.5-0.7 ft^3.

The only way you can invert just one is to reverse the polarity(put the - on the + and the + on the -)

As far as inverting it's just a way to show the back of your subs off it has no bearring on the output or sq

forgot to mention that

AN average sub magnet will b about .06 cubict feet of air space so by inverting one you are adding about .07 to the total VAS

ok thanks but one other thing just so i understand this properly, i only have to change the connections - to + and + to - to the sub that im inverting, not the other one thats just reguler right??

Yeah, the idea here is to get both cones moving in the same direction at the same time, and with one being backward you need to reverse the polarity.
