IPod connect to OEM Head Unit

Default IPod connect to OEM Head Unit

Anyone knoww if there is a way to connect an Ipod to the OEM HU in 03 Civic SI? I don't want wireless crap and need info before tearing up the dash....Honda has no clue and Car Toys says no way.....HELP?

Or the really, really cheap way...But I don't know if the OEM stereo's have the red and white plugs coming out the back.

no, they do not have patch cables coming out the back. That is an aftermarket unit^


And you can pick up FM modulators for cheaper than $39

FM transmitters suck.

There was a guy on my local forum who did this recently. I'll try and find out what he did.

Wired FM modulators are the best,pretty much only, alternative for OEM headunits. As long as it is the wired kind it is almost perfect quality because it plug straight into the ant. jack and most of them filter out the FM frequency you decide to use to cut interferance. Not only that you can often get them with the dock connector with built in charging

Got the NEO...anybody know how to access the HU without scratchin the hell of the trim...can't find any directions on the net anywhere. Got to get to he back of the unit the eaxsiest way possible.
