I have not heard that amplifier in a while, it'll do the job but I wouldn't suggest it. The subs I have actually owned before, mtx does a fairly good job on subs, but those ones are not strong in the least bit, I'd say alpine type Es would be even better than that.

you could always go with 2 rockford fosgate stage 2's or stage 3's the rockford fosgates can hit pretty good. The stage 1's or 2's won't be to bad. All people talk about are alpines. But there are other subs that are just as good or better. Or get some kicker comps. When i get my next car im going to be getting either a kicker solobaric l7, or a jl audio 12w7

That amp is going to eat your alternator alive. Its about as inefficient as amps can be. Look into a Class D Mono amp.......theyre more $, but worth every dime. A 250 watt class D amp will make just as much power as that big amp, yet draw 75% less current. You get what you pay for in the audio dept. Look into brand name amps. JBL, Fosgate, etc. Do what I did. I got a Rockford 1000.1 BD Class D amp for 100$. It was broken. I took it to a stereo shop, they fixed it for 160. So I paid 260 for it all together. The amp new was over 900$. Works great and is still pumping for 5 plus years.

the profile amps are real good for the money. they are probably the best brand amp you can get for a specific price and power. i wouldnt go for the MTX tho....ive heard em before theyre nothing special. i used to own 2 rockford fosgate p1s 12". those were nice subs. nice and cheap too...surprisingly nice for the price...and i didn't even have them in the right enclosure...just some random one i found on ebay...and they stilll sounded amazing. the old models are on sale on crutchfield they are trying to sell out those are the nice ones. check em out

Alpine Type R subs or JL Audio Subs Infinity makes a killer perfect sub in a 10 and 12 also that hits clean. Amps the Class D mono rocks it!!!
