hey guys whats up, i got my civic a month ago and finally got around to put my system in it. Its complete except for front speakers.
here it is
Alpine 9833 headunit
alpine kca-420 ipod interphase
Infinity reference 6x9's
JL e6450 6 channel amp
JL 8 in sub (i have a 10in alpine type R along with a Alpine MRD-M300 if anyone is interested)
aura bass shakers under the seats
Still have to buy the front speakers thinking about getting some more infinitys. In my previous two cars i had alpine speakers and they were decent. But i was wondering if anyone had other suggestions for not too expensive speakers with good SQ. I might replace the 6x9's too seeing as though they were given to me by my cousin and are pretty beat up. Let me know what you think!!

Not a bad setup... why did you throw aura shakers in there? THey dont make those any more ya know.

 

I like the shakers. I got them a few years ago off ebay. Was there a reason they stopped making them that i should know about? I just like the effect they have, makes me feel like im at a concert or somthing cause you feel everypart of the music. I dont run them on the sub signal i use the rear speaker signal.

i dunno maybe its just me, but i like the shakers. I guess its different for everybody. I got a pair because my cousin had the alpine ones(actually built by aura for alpine) and i liked them so i got a set. Just wondering..... how come you guys dont like them? Just think they are annoying or something?

I didnt say I dont like them. I was only saying that those things are normally used for home theaters and under theater seats... I was wondering why you out them in your car... maybe to put a smile on your girlfriends face?

 

haha yeah well that is a plus! But i actually really like them! It might sound gay but u can actually feel the music not just the bass. So i like them. Just an idea!!
