Not real familiar with the Kicker brand for Subs. If anyone has any info about the...Comp cvr 10"...that would greatly be appreciated. My friend onws his own business, making subs, and installation, and he said that he can get me 3 Comp 10", explod amp, wired and installed for $600. So the real question is, are they a high quality brand???

 

seems a little high to me. thats twice the price i paid for a 15" jl w6 with a jl amp

 

im also gettin a custom box with it, forgot to metion...but are they a good brand???

 

sorry i don't know really. the only kicker i've heard are the solo baric L7 i guess it is. Its the 10" scare speaker in a ported box. that little thing was so loud it made my ears tickle

 

my friend made a box 4 his and it blew itself outa the box on the first drop...ha ha ha, but if anyone knows let me know...thanks

 

The comp vr series is pretty good. They have better sound quality than the solobarics. However, don't go with that sony amp. As for being a high quality brand, yes they are. Not the best, but still pretty damn good.

 

Kicker is a middle of the road spl type of brand. They do loudness better than sound quality. If you want something just as loud as the CVR's but with better sound quality alpine type r's and comp vr's are a pretty good match up. Now if you want better quality than both
