Led Wiing problem

So i just finished wiring in some leds for the foot wells in my car and the poblem is that when i turn them on the come on for a second then go out

no all the fuses are fine
i hooked up a voltage tester and after the Leds go out its still saying there is a current

how do you have em hooked up? if there raw leds ( no resistor ) you need to series 4 together so they each get 3 volts .... or use a resistor on each one ...... most of the time leds are 3 volt and they'll get pissed off when you send em 12 volts

they are 3 sets of 1 foot pre wired strips each set is wired together and fused

does it do the same exact thing every time? is the duration they stay on for the same every time?

ya its exactly the same you have to wait a few seconds for them to come on again after u turn them on again almost like something has to reset

damn, this is weird

i'd start by changing the fuse anyway. sometimes a blown fuse can appear to be fine. (the fuse could just have a really weak connection inside)
