LEDs question pllz plz help

Default LEDs question pllz plz help

i m about to buy those led lights from auto zone ...can any1 tell me how to connect them with power like i want them to be turning on and off through the switch.. tell me like what parts do i need. and stuff if u have pictures that wud be great..im installing this on my 2004 Honda civic coupe..i want to put them in place of neons.. like people say connect it to 12 v power source but were is that wire located??
plz help asap thanks

are you talking about led strips? ones that kind of lights up the floor in your interior. you need to have the (-) wires from the LED's grounded. take the (+) wires and wire that to the switch. and take the other wire from the switch and run that to the cig lighter as the power source, but then this way you can only have the switch turn it on when you have your keys in the on position, meaning only when the cig lighter is working. this is one of the simplest way to wire them or you can go a little more advance. i have mines wired so it turns on when i open my doors and off when i close the door. and when i am inside the car, i have a switch so that i can turn the led's on/off. i'm sure others on here can chime in on what you can do.
