i drive a 97 hatch, it had an alright kenwood deck and its face mask broke so a bud hooked it up with his factory integra stereo. i hooked it up and it blew out my ignition fuse. some one told me that some times u need to hook up some sort of transformer or another add on fuse to the positive wire. i dont know im in desperate need for answers. stereo installing mo foes didnt even help.

 

whoever told you you needed to add something to make it work is a moron dont listen to them ..... it should be plug and play ..... if it's blowing your fuse it's a bad deck .... hope this helps
