Yeah... I was actually wondering this myself.

I wanted to hook up the RCA and remote on wires when I put my new head unit in. I'm gonna put in an amp and sub eventually but I'd like to spend the money on the wires now and start running things while I have the dash open.

I was planning on getting about 16 feet.
should be plenty

figure roughly 15-16 ft of control & power wires with most rear install aftermarket cd changers to mount on the drivers side of the trunk

so you'd need about the same with a subwoofer install

I'd go with about 15'... and be sure not to run the rca's down the same side as your power and remote lines.

You read the post. We were asking how long of a cable you actually needed, which if you installed them yourself, you would have discovered the approximate length it required and what was leftover, whether you boughtsome giant pack of cables or not.

and as im starting to have to find out the hard way you should start with a pretty thick power wire and all that like 4g even if you dont need it right now.Ive already had to upgrade to 4g from before and im about to have to upgrade to 0/1 here pretty quick....im sure addiction has had to do the same as me in some occasions...lol

Does it show you anything on the box about not running the wires along the same side?

Yes, sometimes. Why do you ask?
