Idk if it was a type r, but I saw an alpine only came in 12" sub that's like the same price as the L7 but it was 3000w, L7 is 1500w. Is it lowere quality?

I lisin to mainly rap and have my volum up good. Should I get a 10" or a 12". I here the shape of the kicker solo 10" sound like 12" and 12" sound like 15"?
Probably nothing...

I'm not sure what you're talking about...the L5 has an rms/max rating of 750/1500 and the L7 is 1000/2000.....but the Alpine i believe you're talking about is the Type X (the most powerful sub they make). It's rated 1000/3000

IMPORTANT: never look at MAX ratings. they are essentially made up numbers

This makes no sense.

You are amp options are SLIM.....I'd look into a used amp if you only have $100. And don't buy something like a Pryamid or Lanzar amp, they're terrible.

And remember, when looking at amps, you need one that will do 600rms or more at 2 ohms cause of the sub you have chosen.
