Default Need Help Taking some panels off

I am re-wireing my trunk neon and licence plate so I have to run 10 wires from the back to the front and the only way I can think of would be to remove these 2 panels and run the wires behind them. I don't see any screws holding them on so I asume they are held on by clips, if thats right then does anyone know witch way I should pull them off?

You don't have to remove those panels. You can just push the wires under them. Take out the back seat bottm and it's really easy (one bolt staight down the middle behind the bottom cushon then yank.) If you decide to take them off, that rear panel is the biggest beotch to get out and back in, I don't remember specifics but I remember that it sucked.

I got them now thanks though, I just losened them enough to drop the wires behind them. The back one wasn't realy hard to put back on but you have to make the clip in the back near the seat be the first one that you clip because if you do it last then it wouldn't work.

Go to Advanced or wherever and pick up an "add a circuit." Easy to put in and you'll have all the power you need.

I can hook up a wire to the fuses without one of those, I'm just not having very much luck with it, I added a new fuse to an empty spot that was sopost to be a 10 and then It started sparking blue a lot and scared the **** out of my cas I wasn't expecting it. Is that my only option?

well if your wires are thrown sparks when your trying to plug it in then check the end of the wire make sure its not shorting out on some metal.

with adding ANYTHING to the fuse box be sure to always fuse them as close to the fuse box as posible!

and if ya dont know whats what in your fuse box i sugest buying a light tester from autozone or walmart and test the metal prongs and be sure of power... i dont sugest wiring anything directly to a power all the time output... just cause ya wanna be sure you remember to turn it off befor eya get outta your car.LMFAO

but with only adding two small neons a 10amp fuse should be enough to power them with no problems.... but if your blown fuses or thrown sparks your wire is definatly shorted out somewhere... maybe ya pinched it with puting the trim panel clips back on or what not...

but might i ask why have to rewire your liscence plate light? something wrong with the factory wiring? cause it should have pleanty of power to power a little plate neon.... just splice into the factory lisc plate wires.
tho personaly i think liscence plate neons look stupid... they are just a bad idea like those washer leds that everyone used to have.LOL just played out.... BUT thats just my opinion.. most people think my UB cold cathode kit is played out, but i like mine and my bulbs are all hidden.. downfall with liscence plate neons is ya cannt hide the bulb.... which is why i hate em so much. and cops hate em!

and with that drivers side trunk release trim... i just couldnt get mine out and didnt want to snap it in half.LOL i just ran my wires over to the passenger side cause it was so much of a pain! that side comes right out

I had to rewire it because it came on when I turned my headlights on and cops didn't like that very much. Now I have it so that it turns on when I turn my neon on. I still have a problem with it though, it has different settings on how it lights up. I want it to stay on constantly but right now the light moves from the top down in a patteren and I think its looks stupid. I think I threw the box away so I dont have any way to find out how to change the setting.

well for quick and easy mod for the neon and the safest way to turn it on and off is hook up the power wire to your plates factory +wire and then wire in the ground wire from the neon... run it to the front and then just put a switch on it and then just conect the other wire on the switch to any bear metal under the dash... quick and easy and no extra fuses needed and no need to touch the fuse box

not sure on the pattern seting tho....
only thing id say is just buy another plate neon that doesnt have those fancy effects.LOL
