Default need speaker and amp help

Ok I have a question. I am thinking of upgrading the speakers in my wifes 04 civic LX to either polk db6500 or Infinity 6010's and while doing that I am thinking about adding an amp. Currently I have a Pioneer P6800 HU, P325.1 amp driving 2 RF 12" P2 subs in a sealed box. What I need to know is if I need to go with a 4 channel amp, like the alpine MRP-f450 or can I add a 2 channel amp like the RF p5002. What would be the better way to go?

If you have 2 subs, ususally any 2 channel amp with the same wattage as a 4 channel amp will be cheaper and still deliver stereo sound over the subwoofers.
