I have red neons underneath my dash, will the cathods make a big difference? Can cathods be wired to the fusebox? because my neons are all cigarette outlet and I go through fuses at least once a week because of that.

 

not only can you run them to the fuse box.. its a good idea.

i dont have any experience with red cathodes.. but i do know that yellow sucks. never buy yellow cathodes. blue and green are the best. i would imagine that red would be just fine. they will definitely be brighter than your neons. but idk how the color will compare. neons are darker. like deeper in color. so your red cathodeswill be a lighter red. if you're fine with that then go for it. and at 8 bux a pair including the transformer... you cant beat it.
