Yeah plus it would be hard to find vinyl in that same green color, and I don't like it as much anymore, its easier to find stuff in red, I guess I'm going more the type r interior look.

well you could have always just painted the pieces

tho best to put alittle resin or thick sealer since MDF soaks up paint so you cannt just paint it.

Nah wouldn´t look the same as vinyl, plus the red matches the sub logo.

well vinyl is hard to work with... most likely he will never get the outter trim board covered with vinyl and have it all smooth arround the corners! not trying to be mean BUT it is very VERY tuff to get vinyl to lay down on a curve!!!!! regular auto carpet would be the best choice to cover the outter parts in....
only thng different i might do is get a router and smooth down the edges so there is no sharp 90degree cuts. this way the carpet will lay down smoother and stretch around the 2 corners better.

good luck either way. i need to start planing my bass system but im so spent on suspension parts right now and tho i paid off all but 1 credit card i need to play smart and not touch that credit and be all stupid which got me in credit card debt the first time.LOL im trying to be better and so far im doing good! its time to make my credit cards work for me and no the other way around!

im still trying to debate if i want to do a similar instal front firing or leave eough space to haul long stuff thru the trunk. i got a few ideas in my head. and this time im gonna use some plexiglass kinda like yours but oposite maybe and some mirrors.

Yeah I thought about black vinyl but yeah I would never be able to get it all the way flat especially with all the screws and stuff, plus it would just get scuffed up from storing stuff in the trunk. So I'm just gonna use carpet.
