Default NO POWERR TO DECK

I just installed an old deck i had laying around in my house.
The deck worked fine in my other car but once i hooked it all up
it didnt turn on or anything. i checked all the fuses and they are all fine
any ideas on whats preventing it from getting power?
its an 05 Civic Coupe

Check fuses 2, 8, and 9 and that the unit ground wire (black wire) is connected.

Have you used a test light to verify that the hot wires in the connector actually lack battery power with the ignition key ON?
