the subs i want have 2 different ohm's. what does this mean? one has 2ohm+2ohm and the other has 4ohm+4ohm. i really dont understand what this means or which one is better. what should i go with? they are both the same $. this should probably be in the audio section, but i thought i was in it and i posted it here. sorry but now there is nothing i can do. maybe you can still help me out.

the speakers are dual voice coil. 2+2 can be bridged down to 1 ohm and 4+4 can be bridged down to 2 ohms. it is according to what amp you want to use. if you have and amp that is one ohm stable get 1, (2 ohm dvc) or 2, (4 ohm dvc).

haha wow sorry..i was thinkin you wanted to get a 2+2 and a 4+4. I was like..what reasoning for that, anyways...

personaly, i think you should get 2 10" 2 ohm type-r's and 2 and 2 MRP-M350 amps. a very beautiful amp. that i personaly have in my civic. delivers perfect power. stick that with an alpine deck with a bass engine and your good to go.

iv got that amp. to a kicker comp with an alpine deck and it sounds amazing. people are shocked at what a single 10 can do.

If you get two dual four ohm subs, you could run them in parallel at two ohms each and get a total ohm load of one, assuming the amp can run one ohm stable...

Or two amps at one ohm each by running the two+two subs wired for one ohm each...
