Parking light relay for power door locks
I purchased the Autoloc power door lock kit and installed it in my 02 DX so I could have power door locks w/ keyless remote. It works great except I want the parking lights to blink when I hit the button. I purchased the relay, I just don't know what wire to tap into and how to tap into it (do I cut the wire, and put the three wires back together with solder/tape, etc)... There is a wiring diagram on autoloc's website that I was going to post for reference, but they are doing maintenance on it right now so I can't get it.. any help is appreciated. please keep in mind when explaining that I am really new to the whole wiring/electrical thing.. thanks...
easiest way to power the parking lights is get a cheap keyless entry system.....
if ya got the keyless entry remote then find the headlight/parking light switch and wires and with a light tester probe the wires while turning ON and OFF the parking lights till ya find the right wire that powers the parking lights.... then just hookup the parking light wire to the entry systems parking light wire.
thats how ive always done mine.

Okay, so I have the relay all hooked up to the power and the cable that comes from the keyless entry system. All I have to do is hook it up to the lights.. Now, how do I do it?! Everyone says "tap into the such-and-such" or "oh, the black/red wire".. but how do I actually go about plugging into or tapping into or hooking up to the wire?! where exactly am I looking? I am a bit of a noob at this.. I can do small electrical stuff, but when it comes to messing with this, I get a little worried because I don't want to screw anything up with my car. Thanks for all your help so far though!
