Ok, so my car came with the Pioneer DEH-P6500 w/ Organic EL screen (that's what the manual says, anyways)... and lately it's been going nuts. The screen blanks out, fuzzes out, and does lots of crazy stuff. Since i could push the face and it fixed it, I thought it was just the pins, so I bent them out a little... that seemed to make it worse. Any suggestions? (Other than buying another deck... don't have the $$ for that right now)

 

how about unbending the pins?

 

Hop on Ebay and grab a new faceplate. Those organic displays can go out after a while and it's virtually impossible to work their decks without it.

 

Hmmm... found one for $70... for ~$160 I can get one that will play MP3's from my pen drive... decisions decisions...
