Default rear speakers

has anyone had any problems with rattling after installing new speakers for a 2004 civic? I bought some polk audio speakers from crutchfield and they gave me some metal adapters, but when i turn up the volume the back panel rattles like it can't handle the bass. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

are you talking about the rear deck cover rattling? cause if it is you just gotta stick some foam between it and the metal deck where u mounted the speakers.

well I don't think its the metal deck and cover, cuz when i take the cover off it still rattles. maybe its the speaker rattling against the metal deck?

if you screwed down the speaker it shouldnt have any room to rattle against it, just get it rattling and go back there and see if you can locate the rattle
