Default Remote Control Switches?

I can wire switches just fine, but i was wondering what you have to do differently to have the a remote control on and off switch. Any tips would be nice. Thanks!

i assume you are talking about turning on an amp, or maby some lights with a garage door opener/key fob type thing, i know you can buy fairly cheep kits, but i cant remember where i saw em, im looking right now. but its basicly a single channel transmitter with a receiver that includes a relay that youy would hook up to the power or signel wire of what you want to switch on and off

here is a single channel light controler
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4APC-...54277656QQrdZ1
and here is a 4 channel controler
http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Channel-Remote...QQcmdZViewItem

i know i saw some different general purpouse kits somewhere else but i cant remember

something like those would work.. BUT with a remote control system its either ON or off unfortuantly.....

but look at those cheap neon kits on ebay they have some add on remote systems....

plus that second ebay listing is in the UK.LOL and double that price due to US bucks.LOL
