Default removing cd player

I just bought a 2005 civic ex se with the 6 disk changer. Well I think the guy I bought it from gutted the speakers 'cause the front ones dont work. Well, I want to check the connections in the back of the stereo but how and the hell does it come out!!! Generally you pull the housing around the cd player off and go from there but the cd player and everything is connected!!! BTW, it is the 6 cd changer. Thanks for the help!!!
