Default well it happened

my week started off great... and well something bad finally happened... after installing my sub, my SRS light stays on now... when i installed it i removed my battery connection (positive terminal as I recall... it wasn't the grounded one) bought a new connector w/ a screw clamp instead of a crimped one... anyways my SRS light won't go off... i've unplugged the fuse and inspected it, does not appear to be blown... and no my car has not been in any collisions.

I did not cut any wires... other than the ones going to the battery terminal, but fully re-connected later on. didn't cut any wires in my dash. umm... i have one hole in my dash that i didn't put a screw back in, its part of the centre console, but covered up and held in place by the driver's panel. talked to a friend in town and he said just rent a computer from canadian tire to see if it just wants to be read. car has no other issues (other than the glove box not closing quite right, it looks to be wanting to close more towards the driver's side of the car, and my cargo shelf which is part of my hatch).

so yes have yer chuckles that I jinxed myself... but any help/insight will be appreciated.

PS 97 CX hatch, only mods are the stereo

You can use just a paper clip to make the connection.

when using this method its pretty much a necessety to turn off the stereo, amp,and anything else that draws a lot of power, otherwise you'll spend all day trying unsuccessfully.( i found out the hard way).

Does anyone know if this'll work on a 6th gen Accord? I never had that problem in 4 separate Civic installs, but when we did my friend's Accord, his SRS light came on.
