RE: PLS HELP! How do I remove cd player/radio & front speakrs from 02 civic sedan
first remove the pannel under the stering collum on the dash thenyou need to remove the pannel that the cigerete lighter is mounted in. Then if you look up at the bottome of the sterieo from where the cigrette lighter pannel was you will see that the sterieo is mounted in a bracket with the heater controls. there is four hex bolts with a philips screwdriver slot in theme that need to be removed. then you need to find any way possible to get your hand in behind that bracket to remove all the wires pluged in for the heater controls. once they are disconnected then you should be able to slide the whole unit out. sterieo, heater controls and all. then on the sides of the deck you will see the screws holding it to the bracket.
Its a pain in the a#% but look at it this way... If someone steals it, They earned it!

What I did was fisrt remove the cigrette panel there are two bolts to remove under that panel .Next I remove panel around my gauges just to give me some place to push on the cd unit this panel has 2 philipps srews on top .The only thing left to do is to push the complete stereo unit out everything will come with it including the vents .When the unit is out unplug the wires.

Has for the speakers you have to remove the door panel . There is one srew in the door handle behind a plastic cap . Next you have to pull the plastic armrest on the door panel there are I think one or two srews behind it after that pop the panel all around the door (maybe like 5 or 6 clips) that pull the panel up .With the panel out unplug the wires for elctric windows .After that you'll be able to chage your front speakers . hope this will help ...if you did'nt understand something msg me ..My english is not relly good :P
DO NOT DO THIS IN COLD you will break your armrest !
