Default Removing door panels / 99 Civic LX

Hey there, I just wanna make sure I understand this correctly. In removing the door panels for my front doors, I need to pop out the speaker grill, undo the 3 screws, undo the screw in the door handle, PRY AWAY THE BOTTOM PLATE UNDER THE ARM REST (caps cause this is the part that I'm concerned about) and pry the door panel from the door until all clips pop loose, and then lift up... and then unhook the electric window / lock controls... Is this correct?

Thanks, I'm trying to do the dynamat in the doors. I do have the factor manual but you know how it's sorta vague...

I don't see a screw in the door grab pocket. On the entire panel, the only visible screw is in the door release handle, and I've searched this thing up and down. Is this extra screw visible only once the plate below the door grab pocket is removed?

sorry man your blind
remove the screw on the door release handle and remove the bezel.
then remove the door pull pocket screw.
and if you have a manual door handle pull the C clip on the window handle, or for power just remove the controls and unplug them.
the bottom is just held on with clips. just pry it off.

Gotcha, yeah mine doesn't have that. The handle screw yes, but not for the armrest. Maybe it's cause it's the LX though...

Just be prepared to watch some of your brittle clips shatter into dust, even if you use a panel removal tool.
