I have a 1995 Honda Civic EX and I was removing the old aftermarket alarm today. I have removed pretty much all of the alarm except that there are two wires that I am unsure of where they lead to. There are two wires that appear to be leading somewhere behind the fuse panel under the dash. One is green with a white stripe and the other is green with an orange or brown stripe. Does anyone know what these are for and where they lead to so I can reconnect them?

 

They're the door lock trigger wires

At least the green/white one is... are you sure the other isn't green/red? Because green/red is the unlock trigger wire and green/white is the lock trigger, so if those two wires are on the same wire harness for the alarm it would make perfect sense.

Found another wire that I don't know where it leads. It is a solid green wire that appears to going towards the rear of the car down along the driver side. It comes up and out of the carpet right behind the hood release lever. Any idea what this is for? I could not find anything on that site you showed me. Thanks.

 

does it look OEM? Or do you think it may be an aftermarket wire?

 

I dunno. It looks like it may be aftermarket cuz it looks a bit less beat up and dirty. When I pulled the door step panel off to see that it leads to the back, it looks like it's wrapped up in the stock wire loom though so I dunno.
