Default Replacing stock speakers

Hey guys, Im going to replace my stock speakers in my 00 dx vp. I have been looking on ebay but am overwhelmed with all the different ones. What are some reasonably priced speakers to replace these. I know the fronts are 6.5" and the back are 6" x 9". I just need to know a good brand and type within a reasonable price. Thanks.

I've had good luck with Boston Acoustics, Infinity, jbl, and audiobahn. Also have used Rockford, pioneer, jvc but didn't like them as well....the rockfords weren't their highest end tho.

u should look into Infinity or Alpine. there both really good and i bet u could get a good price from ebay for em. i have infinity's myself and i love em, they hit the highs and lows really well. if u want infinity's, the 6.5" would be the Reference series and the 6"x9" would be the Kappa series. u should go to circuit city or best buy and test them out to see which ones u like before u buy.

have used both. components are your best bet but sky's the limit on those. i have boston acoustics S65 in my '01 camaro SS and love them....sound great with deck powered system. they are retail $120/pr but talked them down to $100 at the store, can prob get cheaper online. the other brands i mentioned sound good too tho.

RR, I got the EXACT same car you do! Reasonably, score some infinity reference 6.5 and infinity refernce 6x9. Youll be happy.

Im not sure if the DX has the tweeters in teh corner of the windows or not like the EX does but if it DOES have factory tweeters all you need is a 2way since the tweeter will pick up the rest.. and as stated before components are the best route if you have the cash to do it.
