Mine locks the gas lid. The only way on my car to open the trunk is with the key solenoid at the back of the car. They didn't put remote trunk openers in del Sols until 1995 or 1996.

hum thats odd.... i dont know why they didnt lock the gas lid also on my civics. neither my 96 and 99 did....

I'm pretty sure on my old EG sedan it locked both the trunk and the gas lid.

I would find that annoying tho cause i lock my trunk since it has a sub, but it would be annoying having to unlock the bottom thing everytime to fill up and then lock it again. I find it annoying to unlock it when someone gets out of my car to get their backpack or something out of the trunk and thats not often lol.

Trust me, it's more annoying to have to turn the car off and get out to open the trunk for your friend. lol
Unlocking to fill up isn't really that annoying. It's like, once every 2 weeks. lol
