Default signal lights

Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for turn signal lights. What does that mean? Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

That's for if you use LED turn signal bulbs. The best way to do it though is with an LED flasher relay. The problem is that since the LEDs require such little power, the relay "thinks" they are burnt out and flashes them rapidly. Load resistors or a LED flasher relay solve this problem. But you only need it for LED turn signal bulbs, not regular ones.
