Default Sound Dead

Hey all I just purchased a used Honda Civic 2008 SI. It has radio with Navi. Couple days back battery went bad so had to give jump start. First thing it asked was radio code which I punched in so navigation is now working also I can browse radio stations and popped in CD and I can change tracks and I see equilizer bouncing in my back ground of screen. But I get no sound why is that..
Is this a code issue or some thing else.. or am I doing anything incorrect..
Please help...
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask questions like this..

I think that the late models have a separate amplifier box hidden somewhere, with its own fuse.

Took to the dealer and said I need to put my car in shop for them to check..
So then showed to a local mechanic and he says my amp which is underneath the seat is dead.. So now looking to buy a new one..
