Default Stereo almost teefed!

I just noticed it today, my car got broken into tonightall of my sub wiring has been pulled and exposed! And the cd player on the Eclipse stopped working [:@] but I hit the reset button on it and it was fine (whew). Youd think since I have stickers all over the car with Eclipse warning anti theft written all over them that they wouldnt do it. I was wrong. I would have had the last laugh tho, because it wouldnt be functional after it was disconnected to the battery.

Also, the valet trunk lock is destroyed (yea, they got in the trunk). But, it pays dearly to have your sub box bolted down. They didnt get away with anything. There is a little mess but nothing wrong thank god. I am lucky. I had my sub and amp bolted to the FRAME of the car. So, I keep my equipment. But you know, it pisses me off because you just cant have anything nice in your car these days. There is always some jack *** that needs to take and not earn. I hope that person(s) burns. Im done ranting and I wanted to let you all know that you need to be careful and bolt your stuff down!!!!!!!

People suck.

I keep wanting to build an easy in-easy out box, but I may have to bolt it down.

Another horrible story. Man, I hate that garbage. People just cannot say "I want what he has and work for it". Instead they gotta be lazy @sses and take other people stuff. Thank God it was bolted down. I know you were sighing with relief that nothing really bad happened.

How did they get in the car? Busted Window I suppose?

No, actually, this one was sneaky, and thats why im surprised they tried to go for the stereo. He used a slim jim. I only have remote locks on my car, not alarm. I will get one however. My parking lot is actually guarded but I had to park in the back last night because it was full. I am VERY VERY fortunate that nothing else happened. Not even the cd's were taken. Although he did steal the $5 I had in the center console.

Even though mines bolted, it is only 100% ****** and grab theif proof. It he had a power drill and 30 minutes to an hour, it would have been his.
