guess so. i just want the car to be clean lol. try to keep most of not all of the parts matching. but meh, it's a first car. I'm sure I'll sell it and get a fresher one in a couple of years anyway

you dont really see any of the stereo equiptment besides the HU
jw how much r u looking to spend for your complete stereo system?

depends really. if I were to redo the entire thing, I'd say $300 MAX, but just for a sub maybe 90?

well i would just get one 10" sub then
that kicker amp should power it fine

i have 2 10's and i dont use a capacitor...if anything upgrade your ground wires
2 also means more $$$$ and a bigger, heavier box and you would probably need/want a different amp than the one your grandpas bringing u

btw where r u located?

good speakers make or break the sound system imo, if you have a nice sub but a cheap sub, it sounds bad imo.

amp comin tomorrow, it is jensen, but I'm not 100% sure about the amperage yet. also, would i have to match the speakers to the amp or no?

wattage... its wattage anyhow get the amps model number and we can help you out from there and keep the pioneer speakers over sony's and capacitors are useless garbage but remember the less you spend on ur system the less you get as far as quality and loudness
