stock head unit problems

Ok so i have the stock CD player an my battery died soooi jumped an now its readin a code erroron the screen anit wont take cd's an turn on at all.....anyone know what to do?
im think maybe the fuse is blown

You need the antitheft code. It does that to discourage people from stealing it because if they don't have the code after they disconnect it from the vehicle power, when they try to use it again it won't work. Just get the code, disconnect your battery again, and then hook it back up, turn on the cd player, and it should ask for the code, then enter it.

you need to turn the power button on the head unit off(volume button) and press 1 and 6 and turn it back on while holding 1 and 6. it'll give you 2, 4 digit codes, in other words 2 sets of 4 numbers. you then need to call your honda dealer and tell them these numbers, they can then give you your sercurity code.

good luck. i just went through this with my new-to-me civic, PITA!
