Default sub installation question

Ok I have a 07 civic, with a navigation system in it, and I want to hook up my kicker L7's to it, but I dont know exactly how I go about taking the navigation system out to run the wires to the back of it. Any help would be apprecieated. I know how to install subs and amps, just have not worked with in dash navigation before.

i dont know if Haynes makes a manual for the 07's but if they do, get yourself one of those. I also have never worked on an 07, im assuming the system should pull out the same way one without the nav does. the dash has got to be clipped around the edges, try and pry it loose maybe (but be careful its a new car ) maybe can you provide a picture?

to make it alot easier use the speaker wires right off the rear speakers....
if your amplifier has speaker wire inputs then its very simple. but most amplifiers dont have them anymore so youd need a HIGH/LOW converter...

something like that. i believe walmart even sells them.... very simple!

Well I have not taken any pictures of the interior yet but here is a shot I found when looking cant see much but here

And I would rather not run an adapter, I would feel much better about just finding the right way to run it to the RCA in the back of the headunit.

So I would actually need to get a converter like the one addiction posted, then how would I put that in? Splice into the rear speakers and run that to the amp?

I have yet to see any stock system ever to have RCAs in there
The thing about newer cars is that it's becoming more and more difficult to get a great sounding system because most of the time the damn cd player is integrated into the car
