Sub rattles!! Why?

Default Sub rattles!! Why?

Just hooked up my sub today and it rattles like crazy. moves fine but rattles major. any idea what is going on. I have the amp connected to the s.w. out on my head unit so should i try the pre out rca? any help is appreciated

check all the screws on the box, and also if the foam surround on the sub isnt broken

could be:

blown speaker
vibrating against box
box vibrating against something in trunk
or car vibrating (but just sounds like it's the sub)

yeah it actually just went away by itself but it was the sub itself. i think it was vibrating against the box

That probably means you need to tighten it down a little more...
