I just bought my 96 honda civic...and it came with some woofers that were attached to the top of my trunk...but when i turn it up sorta loud it begins to make poping sounds...what does this mean???

 

what kind of subs are they. what kind of amp is it. is it stock, or aftermarket. who istalled it etc. i need some details buddy. turn your bass down and see if it helps. let the amp push the bass not the deck!

 

nvm what kind of subs are they 96 doesnt have stok subs, i dont think so .

 

ya i definatly need to see some pictures! so they are attached to the trunk LID or inside the trunk mounted where the back 6x9s are located...

unless they are in a box..... i bet thats the problem...LOL they arent in a box like they should be....
thiers only a few subwoofers that are designed for open mounting and they still arent that good.

They did but I highly doubt they are in the back of his car.
