The bigger the sub, the deeper the bass. Whats the diameter of the whole?
As usual, I'm a major fan of Rockford Fosgate. Their T2 10" sub can break your back window if you aren't careful, and the P3 is incredibly nice for the price (check ebay, very good prices, they retail for $200 or so and go for $80ish brand new on ebay).

I'm not sure about other brands for subs on ebay, but RF is definitely good on ebay.
Quality = Rockford Fosgate. I love them. literally the only complaint I've ever heard is that their stuff is expensive, ebay takes care of that.

yeah my friend had a rockford system in his car and it didn't sound to bad
maybe thats what i'll go with because it would probably be cheaper than getting a type-x...?

Look up the polk audio SR124 if you an SQ type of setup. I'm running the 104 and I love it. Elemental designs has some pretty nice gear as well. here's a link to them. http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/index.php.Good customer service and I haven't heard any negative about them.
