first off get rid of that 8 gauge.. you need atleast 4 gauge...get a extra battery installed.... capacitors are just band aids... then get a dynamat trunk kit and go to town.... : )

Get a dynatmat trunk kit....That should help with your trunk problem.......
Im trying to think about the lights right now.. I think it just that your drawing alot of currnet for your amp to have that max sound you want. Maybe adding a Cap..... Will help......Test ur battery and see that your getting 12 v.... Cause if your only have a battery with like 9 volts then your screwd from the get go....And i only scammed your thread but you have 8awg wire?

The 8 guage wire is not even close to thick enought. I would get 4 guage wire, and a new amp. The amp you have is garbage and will kill your alternator. It is NOT efficient. Probably as far away as possible. Get a fosgate or JBL amp. You get exactly what you pay for when it comes to car audio stuff..............power acoustic stuff is not expensive for a reason..........its crap.

I don't see a reason to change your 8gauge wiring. At 600rms...It's not like you're going forquality, for gods sake it's a power acoustic. If you've everblown a fuse thenyeah, upgrade to 4.
Just upgrade your alternater, when the car is running your alternater is what supplies the current for the systems inthe car, the batteryjust actsas a cushion. Stinger alternaters are pretty popular. Your battery will last a lot longer if you upgrade the alternater first.

what does a stock alternator run at?

i found a few that run 165amps would that be enough to fix the problem?
or would it be better to look into a capacitor first?

In the real world, if these amps you have listed..... could make the power they claim. They would use up damn near ALL of what even the 165 amp alt. could put out.
Cosider 2 gauge to the rear of the car.....minimum. for saftey!
