Systems for 06 SI ?!?
alright... i'm lookin at this like, how the **** am i gonna do this ?!? I didnt take my system out of the Prelude when i traded it in, because at the time i could not see how i can change out the audio in the new Civic. EVERYTHING is all ONE piece connected to the dash. I'm sure i could take it to a pro custom shop, but i figured i'd run it by you guys first and see what ya'll thought !
Wow thats the first time i've seen the interior of the brand new SI, and i'm kinda happy I didn't buy one. I don't think they are going to make a dash kit for your car, I don't see it unless they redesign the dash. The one thing I would look into is the JL audio cleansweep CL441dsp factory -head interface. I read an article about it in Road and track: Roadgear. It lets you keep your factory head, and is suppose to sound really good. It got great reviews. I'd take a look into it. Let us know what you end up doing.
All you need is the trim panel from the LX, EX coupe civics. They have the din size radio and they make a tray that goes under it if you like. You will have to call honda for the price though...sure it woun't be cheap.
