Thats why I love my sub

For daily driving I keep the sub level on -3 ish, and it is the most beautiful sounding sub I have ever heard. But I can take it to a SPL drag turn it up to +6 and knock 142.

depends.. if he has all three of those with one amp, its just a waste of money. If he just turns them all the way up they should be loud. why didnt he just get one SoloX and some amps? what a waste of money..

It's too much. One or two of those are enough to blow your trunk off(if u have a civic). The type X bass r extremly loud and you'll gonna need 3 amps for those (3000 each)

what kind of sub do you have? and what kind of enclosure? idk but usually something that pulls those kind of numbers isnt the best sounding sub in terms of quality. and what meter were you using?

my buddy has 2 type r's and a i forget what alpine amps he has..he hit a 140 i think it was last year at a DB drag, i hit a 138 with my 2 memphis 300RMS each, and my amp,200RMS ..and my cap,i could of put it to 10 and i had it at about 6, what i have is pretty week in power but creates good amount of clean bass,if i had money to spare i would buy better, but i cant drive with it up anyways, its wayy to loud you cant hear anything else, so i could imagen louder..just for show
