Underbody Neon Brackets

Underbody Neon Brackets
I'm installing a new underbody neon kit, but i dont like the brackets that came with the kit. They look like this:
It seems like a bracket such as this could keep the tubes from hanging down lower.
I am wondering if it is possible to use a bracket like this. What do you guys think?

ya, it would be no problem to use thos, why they hang down to low?...go to your local home building center and check out what they have for brackets like that..thos are used for keeping piping on walls and suchs, you should have NO problem finding them

RE: Underbody Neon Brackets
those plastic brackets work fine for underbody, but you want to flip them the exact opposite way of what would seem right. When you screw them down, the brackets will suck the tube up against the underside of your car. So the flat part that would seem logical to have against the car actually faces towards the ground. When you screw em in, the plastic flexes and draws thhe tube up towards the chassis. that way it stays out of sight.

I'm sorry sillyredcivic, i aint followin you man....if you flipped the bracket upside down and had the round part that holds the tube at the top, you would need 3" or 4" screws, and it seems like the plastic would break instead of bend. I beleive you though man, any advice helps so thank you Maybe try and explain it a different way....

use the ones that came with it.. metal ones like that could cause ur tubes to break if u hit a bump due to not having any buffer there... the plastic somewhat asorbs the impact.... but if u got the kewl ones with the rubber inserts.. it could be dun
