Default Two 15's in EK Hatch

I designed a box, that allows me to properly install a pair of 15's in an ek hatch sealed, without losing my back seats. Most 15's if installed correctly, take a box bigger them what the hatches allow. That's why alot of sub setups sound punch, but have no low end. I designed this box like a trapezoid, being 30" at the base and 35" at the top. This allowed me to fit between the wheel well, but opens up to for extra airspace.

I haven't decided on what to cover it with yet, because I built it last night, so I just hit it with a little black paint. Let me know what you think.

The setup is a pair of Fi Audio Q15's on a DC Audio PAI-2200.1.

Yeah man, it sounds pretty sick. You can feel the air blowing out the front windows when it hits.

Not yet. I just built the box yesterday. I had the same two subs on less power and a smaller box in my old G35 sedan and hit 140db legal on a TL. Then 152 on an AC mic in my Magnum. From there I jumped to 4 15's on an IA 40.1 and hit over 160db on another AC mic. Now I get to have fun in the ek. Next show, I'll get metered to see where it stands.

Actually, he is using subs that are really for SQ

I really want a Q.....but it won't happen till i sell my current subs. Can't justify spending more money lol.

My neighbors won't really know if I got a system. I don't blast it when driving around. The subs are Fi's SQ series subs, so they are clean and tight, with monster lowend. I'll rip out the back seat when I am ready to go all out SPL. I got kids to, so I still need it, lol.

Damn it... My rear Honda emblem fell off, lol. Lucky it was while I was testing and not driving. How the heck do I put it back on? Buy a new one with adhesive on it?
