well i have a Pioneer DEH P4800MP h/u, Pioneer TS-164P 6 1/2" front door speakers, some nicer pioneer rear speakers, 2 12" Verge subs and a Verge 2 channel amp setup with a Stinger 10Guage wiring kit.


i was wondering what point of the whole car audion scale that this is on?

im assuming that it is the lower to very low end but i just wanna see what everyone here thinks?

10gauge wires is EXTREMELY SMALL... thats only big enough to power about 300watts if that....
also never heard of those subs.....

 

If you like the way it sounds, it's just fine. If you love the way it sounds, it's great.

 

^^what he said. Audio is subjective to the listener like wine is subjective to the taster. We are all unique and strive for our own version of perfection. Its not what I would do, but if your happy then who carees what I think????

 

well i havent actually been in very many other cars that have anything better than stock systems so i dont really know.

Trust me from experience, I've been in a ton of other cars, some with much more expensive equpment than what I own and I think it sounded worse, and I ave been pleasantly surprised by much more budget based systems than that which I have in my vehicle. The point is to figure out what you think your system is lacking(if you think it is lacking and work on improving that much of it at a time! But most importantly, have fun with it, and don't worry about impressing your friends or any of us on here. If your happy with your system others will notice that.

I've had some good ones. All depends on how you use what you have.
